Ranta Agro Processing PLC was established in 2021 by two innovative young entrepreneurs named Getachew Dinkineh and [Second Entrepreneur's Name]. They won the first national competition prepared by the Ministry of Labor and Skill, which is named Biruh Ethiopia.

The story of Ranta Tomato Processing began with a tragic event. A farmer in central Ethiopia, around the Durame area, farmed tomatoes. During the peak harvest season, he brought all his tomatoes, more than 500 kgs, to the market. However, along the way, all his tomatoes perished. Two months later, the same farmer had to purchase imported processed tomatoes at a very expensive price. This incident highlighted the urgent need for processing and preserving tomatoes.

Our products include tomato paste, tomato ketchup, powdered tomato, and mixed spice. One of the most amazing benefits of our products is that all our tomato products are made without paraben and benzoate, which are artificial preservatives and major causes of cancer.
